Bayou Teche, East and West Calumet Floodgate Approach Channels, Maintenance Dredging, St. Mary Parish, Louisiana ED 26-005

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New Orleans District, is preparing to issue a solicitation for maintenance dredging of the East and West Calumet Floodgate approach channels located in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. The work consists of the removal of shoal material from within the Wax Lake Outlet approach channels to the East and West Calumet Floodgates and the satisfactory disposal of dredged material into the Wax Lake Outlet channel beyond the -35-foot contour. No dike construction is anticipated. The estimated period of performance is approximately 40 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. • The solicitation will include approximately five (5) drawings and specifications. • The resulting contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP). • Bidders must register at the System of Award Management (SAM) website to download the solicitation for this project. • The solicitation will be available free of charge by electronic posting only and may be found on the System of Award Management System (SAM) website.
