Description
The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is issuing a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract to Environmental Synectics, LLC for Environmental Management System Support (EMSS) Formerly Used Defense Sites Chemical (FUDSChem) support services. The contract will provide data management tools and support services, such as patches and upgrades, user support, and training for the EMSS FUDSChem data processing system. The system is a browser-based application for storing, analyzing, and reporting FUDS chemical data. The contractor will need to possess technical expertise and knowledge in environmental remediation and restoration to support the continuing maintenance and development of FUDSChem.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing data management tools and support services for the FUDSChem data processing system
• Supplying data of a known quality to the Enterprise Chemistry (EChem) system
• Maintaining operations while USACE completes acquisition planning, prepares solicitation documentation, and awards the follow-on EMSS III contract
• Possessing knowledge, system access, security authorizations, and technical familiarity necessary to maintain operations
• Providing uninterrupted services during the interim period without substantial duplication of cost or unacceptable delays
