Street Painting RFP

The City of Portland's Street Painting Program is seeking proposals from qualified proposers to install large-scale murals on roadway surfaces. The successful vendor will be responsible for managing volunteers, preparing streets for mural installation, and maintaining the murals. The program includes Painted Street Plazas and residential street paintings, and the vendor will also be responsible for painting plaza furniture and other items as needed. Key aspects of the project include: • Installing large-scale murals on roadway surfaces, including concrete and asphalt surfaces • Managing volunteers during mural installation • Preparing streets for mural installation • Maintaining murals, including street cleaning, repainting, and ongoing maintenance • Painting plaza furniture and other items as needed • Providing consistent and high-caliber customer service • Hiring and training staff • Managing an inventory of paint and painting supplies
