Service Area 4a: Justice Involved Youth Services Community-Based Employment services.

The County of Santa Cruz Probation Department is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to provide community-based employment services to justice-involved youth and emerging adults. The selected organization will provide culturally responsive and evidence-informed services to enhance the well-being, development, and positive outcomes of the target population. The services will include community-based employment services, and the organization will be required to demonstrate its capacity to deliver these services. The proposal should include a description of the service types, sources of service, and method of delivery, as well as a plan for selecting the types and kinds of services to be provided. The organization should also outline its proposed interventions and resources to be made available to the target population. • The organization should have experience in delivering evidence-based or promising practices to justice-involved youth and emerging adults. • The organization should have a plan for ensuring that individuals who have been most impacted by racial and ethnic disparities receive the proposed services. • The organization should have a plan for delivering the services, including the length and duration of the services. • The organization should have a plan for minimizing start-up time and for determining the staff and/or entity that will oversee data tracking and quality assurance. • The organization should have a plan for retaining, tracking, and submitting required invoices and maintaining supporting documentation.
