TEGUC- Preventive Maintenance Service for Photovoltaic System at New Embassy Compound (NEC)

The U.S. Embassy in Tegucigalpa, Honduras is seeking a contractor to provide preventive maintenance services for the photovoltaic system at the New Embassy Compound. The contractor must be certified and authorized by the manufacturer to work on SMA branded inverters and SolarPC software. The services include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, providing remote emergency assistance, and updating software and firmware as recommended by the manufacturer. The contractor will also be required to provide training to embassy personnel on the maintenance and operation of the photovoltaic system. The key responsibilities of the contractor will include: • Performing visual inspections of the photovoltaic system • Checking for damage to photovoltaic panels and inspecting wiring harness for wear and damage • Inspecting system for corrosion and ensuring that vegetation is removed or controlled • Providing a list of necessary parts and materials and replacing inverters, fuses, and photovoltaic panels as needed • Demonstrating operation of software and devices that manage solar power integration into the embassy's electrical distribution system • Replacing disposable batteries associated with the system.
