Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking information from providers of juvenile services in the area of Garza County, Texas, for an upcoming solicitation. The anticipated solicitation will be for an IDIQ contract with one line item for secure juvenile services, including in-house beds, for male and female offenders. The requirement is estimated to be for a maximum of 15 in-house placements and a minimum of 9 in-house placements. The Bureau is looking for input on the feasibility of providing these services in the geographical area. Interested vendors are encouraged to provide responses to the questions outlined in the RFI, including their experience in providing RRC and Home Confinement services, and any state or local ordinances that may affect the procurement process.
• The RFI is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.
• The Bureau is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals.
• Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI.
• The RFI is intended solely for the use to improve communications between potential contractors and the Bureau.
