Description

The City of Flint is seeking qualified vendors to provide traffic signs and posts for its Fiscal Year 2018 public works projects. This procurement covers the supply (and potentially installation) of a variety of standard roadway signage and supporting post hardware in compliance with state and federal specifications. Vendors must be able to deliver the required quantities on schedule, meet applicable safety and durability standards, and provide documentation of product warranties. • Provide a full range of traffic signs (regulatory, warning, guide, etc.) and compatible posts. • Ensure all items meet Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) standards. • Offer delivery, and if required, installation services at designated city locations.

Budget estimate

$50,000 – $200,000

Based on typical municipal traffic sign contracts, the total value is likely in the low‑to‑mid five‑figure range. A small city might spend anywhere from $50,000 for a limited set of signs up to $200,000 for a larger, city‑wide replacement program, depending on quantity, sign types (standard vs. illuminated), and any installation services required.
