Holford/PGBT 16” Water Main

The City of Garland is seeking bids for the construction of a 16” water main. The project includes the installation of a new water main, valves, fittings, and other appurtenances. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the work and performing repairs and reconstruction as needed for a period of two years from the date of acceptance of the work. The project requires the contractor to coordinate with other contractors working adjacent to the project limits, locate existing utilities, and protect plant materials and trees. • The project includes the installation of a new 16” water main • The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the work and performing repairs and reconstruction as needed • The project requires coordination with other contractors and protection of plant materials and trees • The contractor must comply with the City of Garland's standard details and specifications • The project includes a Maintenance Bond for an amount equal to 10% of the contract price for improvements
