WASTE TIRE REMOVAL & DISPOSAL/RECYCLING SERVICES

The St. Johns County - Purchasing Department is seeking a contractor to provide waste tire removal and disposal/recycling services. The contractor will be responsible for collecting tires from the St. Johns County Tillman Ridge Landfill and Stratton Road Landfill, and disposing of them in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. The contractor must provide an open-top vehicle for transportation and comply with all regulations and rules. The estimated annual quantity of tires to be collected is approximately 400 tons. • The contractor must collect tires at least once a month from the Tillman Ridge Landfill and occasionally from the Stratton Road Landfill. • The contractor must provide a weigh ticket for each collection. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. • The contractor must dispose of tires in a licensed and permitted facility. • The contractor must notify the county of any changes to the schedule or equipment.
