Vision Cart Utensil Washer/Disinfector

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide two Vision 1327 Cart and Utensil Washer/Disinfectors, along with full installation services, to the Kansas City VA Medical Center. The equipment is needed to support Sterile Processing Service (SPS) for reprocessing sterilization compatible containers and transportation carts used for transportation of reusable medical devices (RMD) used in invasive procedures. The contractor will also provide training to clinical staff prior to equipment use. Key features of the equipment include: • Minimum individual dimensions of 109 inches (H) x 120 inches (W) x 130 inches (D) • Capability to reprocess at minimum two heavy case carts and large racks for reprocessing utensils and containers • Floor-mounted above the finished floor • Steam heated • Emergency stop/disconnect capabilities • Support for specific utility requirements, including electrical, auto drain valve electrical, steam consumption, hot water consumption, air, and noise level The contractor will be responsible for removing and disposing of all debris and packing material left from the installation of the ultrasonic equipment.
