Twin Lakes Recreation Area - Parking Improvements

The City of Columbia is seeking a contractor to provide materials and labor necessary for the demolition, milling, and overlay of the existing parking lot and the construction of a parking curb at the Twin Lakes Recreation Area. The contractor shall comply with the project specifications, including the provision of materials, equipment, and labor that meet or exceed the project requirements. The contractor shall also secure all necessary licenses and permits, keep necessary records, and do all work in such a manner as to comply with all ordinances and laws of the City, County, State, and Nation. The project includes the following scope of work: • Demolition • Concrete curb • 2” mill/overlay existing parking lot • Remove/replace asphalt repair subgrade/base as needed, 3” asphalt The contractor shall provide pricing for all line items as required on the Pricing Page. The cost evaluation shall be based upon the sum of the firm, fixed price stated on line one of the Pricing Page. Some key requirements for the contractor include: • Providing materials, equipment, and labor that meet or exceed the project specifications • Securing all necessary licenses and permits before beginning work • Keeping necessary records as required • Doing all work in such a manner as to comply with all ordinances and laws of the City, County, State, and Nation • Providing pricing for all line items as required on the Pricing Page • Complying with the prevailing wage law and providing certified payroll every seven days • Providing a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond, each for 100% of the contract price • Complying with all applicable codes and standards, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) The City of Columbia reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to negotiate with any offeror considered qualified, or to make multiple or single award(s) without further discussion.
