The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) is seeking vendors to provide Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Contract Emergency Residential Services (CERS) in Sacramento, Placer, or Yolo County. The contractor will provide emergency housing and supportive services for homeless Veterans, focusing on substance use disorder and mental health treatment. Key services include: • Providing secure, separate housing for males and females • Offering three daily nutritious meals and supportive services • Maintaining a minimum of one staff member on site at all times • Ensuring quality case management and treatment services • Maintaining individual case records for each Veteran The period of performance is expected to be 5 years, starting approximately April 1, 2026.
