Description
The U.S. Department of State is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru. The services include daily cleaning of offices, bathrooms, common areas, and other facilities. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, materials, and personnel to perform the services. The contract period is for one year with an option to renew for an additional year. The contractor must ensure that all employees have valid labor insurance coverage and provide a supervisor who visits the facilities at least once a month.
Some key responsibilities of the contractor include:
• Daily cleaning of offices, bathrooms, and common areas
• Vacuuming and sweeping of floors
• Cleaning of kitchens and dining areas
• Emptying of trash and replacing plastic liners
• Cleaning of external areas, including parking lots and sidewalks
• Biannual deep cleaning of carpets and external high walls and windows
The contractor must also provide a firm-fixed-price proposal and ensure that all services are performed in accordance with the contract requirements.
