Design Build (RFQ) - WA1.722A - 1.5T MRI Renovation

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a design‑build team to replace its existing Siemens Magnetom Avanto 1.5 T MRI system with a new owner‑furnished Siemens MAGNETOM Sola 1.5 T MRI. The contractor must provide both professional design services and full construction execution, conforming to extensive university and health‑care specifications, safety policies, and commissioning requirements. This project involves detailed coordination of medical equipment installation, building upgrades, and compliance with hospital construction standards. • Provide full design (architectural, structural, MEP) for a new MRI suite that meets Siemens Sola specifications. • Deliver construction services, including demolition of existing equipment space, installation of new MRI, and related building systems upgrades. • Adhere to UT System construction guidelines, safety and quality control policies, and submit a comprehensive Statement of Qualifications.
