Notice of Intent to Sole Source – FSS Schedule 66 III, Infectious Disease and Bacterial Markers

The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Network Contracting Office NCO2 intends to award a sole source contract to Diasorin, Inc. for infectious disease and bacterial markers testing. The testing platform must include MMRVZ, PCT, Lyme IgG/IgM/MTTT, Quantiferon TB Gold H.pylori Ag, Fecal Calprotectin, and Fecal Elastase. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) action. • The contract is for a recurring requirement on a cost per reportable/test basis. • Market research was conducted, and only Diasorin was found to be capable of fulfilling the requirement. • The contract will be awarded under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 8.405-6. • Capability statements from other sources will be considered, but the determination not to compete is at the Government's discretion.
