RESIDENTIAL PLUMBING REHABILITATION PILOT PROGRAM

The City of Flint is seeking a qualified contractor to lead the City's residential plumbing program, which includes replacing whole house interior plumbing and components with PEX, repairing any damage to walls and flooring, and meeting other requirements. The program is part of a pilot program and includes 13 addresses. The selected contractor must have at least 5 years of experience in residential/commercial plumbing, 5 references of similar work, a State of Michigan Journey Plumber or Master Plumber license, and active LARA certification with the State of Michigan. • The contractor must replace the whole house interior plumbing and components with PEX, including water lines, shut-off valves, faucets, and water heaters. • The contractor must repair any damage to walls and flooring caused by the work. • The contractor must have at least 5 years of experience in residential/commercial plumbing. • The contractor must have 5 references of similar work. • The contractor must have a State of Michigan Journey Plumber or Master Plumber license. • The contractor must have active LARA certification with the State of Michigan.
