English Textbook Adoption

Chesapeake Public Schools is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide English textbooks and related ancillary materials for middle and high schools. The contract will be for a term of 7 years, with the option to extend for an additional 7 years. The schools are looking for vendors who can provide high-quality materials that meet the district's curricular goals. The evaluation criteria include specific plans and methodology, experience and qualifications of personnel, quality and durability of products, ability to meet curricular goals, technology ease of use and accessibility, exceptions to the RFP, completeness and clarity of proposal, and cost. • The contract will be awarded to two or more vendors based on their proposal and evaluation criteria. • The district reserves the right to negotiate prices and services with the selected vendors. • The contract is subject to the provisions of the Virginia Public Procurement Act and the district's purchasing procedures. • Vendors must submit their proposals electronically through the district's e-bidding platform. • The district is an equal opportunity employer and encourages minority and women-owned businesses to participate.
