Backhoe Loader

The Boone County Fiscal Court is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors for the purchase of one new backhoe loader. The selected vendor will supply and deliver the equipment to Boone County, Kentucky. The backhoe loader must meet the specifications provided, which include a turbocharged, 4-cylinder, direct-injection diesel engine, a hydraulic system with a variable-displacement piston pump, and a loader with a heavy-duty, in-line loader arm. The vendor must also provide warranty information and a certificate of insurance. • The backhoe loader must have a net flywheel HP of at least 104 HP @ 2200 RPM • The backhoe loader must have a net peak power of at least 108 HP @ 1900 RPM • The backhoe loader must have a net peak torque of at least 330 ft-lb @ 1400 RPM • The backhoe loader must have a torque rise of at least 44% minimum • The backhoe loader must have a Tier 4 Final / Stage IV emissions • The backhoe loader must have an SCR system with no regeneration required • The backhoe loader must have an economy mode • The backhoe loader must have an automatic engine speed control • The backhoe loader must have an auto engine protection shutdown • The backhoe loader must have a thermal starting aid system • The backhoe loader must have a glow plug cold-start capability to –18°C (–0.4°F)
