The Jonathan Wainwright VA Medical Center is seeking a contractor to provide complete laundry and linen services. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing management, labor, transportation, pick-up and delivery services, tools, materials, vehicles, facilities, and equipment required to perform laundry services. The services must comply with VHA Directive 1850.03, OSHA regulations, Joint Commission Environment of Care and Infection Control standards, and industry standards. The contractor must pick up dirty linen and deliver clean linen twice a week, with a turnaround time of 72 hours. The contractor must also provide emergency turnaround services, maintain strict separation of clean and soiled textiles, and follow infection prevention and control standards.
