Description
The University of North Carolina at Pembroke is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide waste removal services for the university campus. The contract will have an initial term of three years, with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year terms. The vendor will be responsible for providing and servicing waste containers, recycling bins, and other equipment, as well as removing and disposing of solid waste from the campus. The university is looking for a vendor that can provide reliable and efficient service, and that can meet the university's needs for waste removal and disposal. Some key requirements include:
* Providing and servicing 23 waste containers, 157 recycling bins of varying sizes and frequency of servicing
* Furnishing all labor and equipment to remove the waste and dispose of it in an appropriate manner
* Providing services the next day if the request for services is made by 2:00pm on the day of the request
* Refraining from charging extra trip charges or additional fees for picking up any waste or recycling containers specified on this contract on an as needed basis
* Other requirements as specified in the IFB document.
