Description
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) seeks a staffing agency to provide ten (10) full‑time‑equivalent (FTE) licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS) to its Laboratory Field Services (LFS) branch for a three‑year period. The CLS will conduct on‑site inspections of clinical and physician‑office laboratories, perform CLIA surveys, investigate complaints, prepare reports, and may testify in legal proceedings. All personnel must hold a current California CLS license, have at least three years relevant experience, and be available for the full contract term. The contract is a time‑and‑materials IFB with a maximum ceiling of $7 million; travel reimbursements are separate. Bids must be submitted in sealed hard‑copy form by October 15, 2026. Preference points are available for small‑business, DVBE, and distressed‑area participation.
