Budget estimate

$3,000,000 – $6,000,000

The budget for this contract can be estimated based on the scope of work and the compensation model. The contractor will be compensated on a percentage of collections, which implies that the total budget will depend on the efficiency and effectiveness of the billing and revenue cycle management services provided. Given that the County processes approximately 60,000 emergency medical transports annually, and assuming an average revenue per transport, the total annual revenue could be substantial. If we consider an average revenue of $1,000 per transport (which could be a conservative estimate given the complexity and cost of emergency medical services), the total annual revenue would be $60 million. If the contractor's compensation percentage is around 5% to 10% of collections (a common range for such services), the annual budget to the contractor could range from $3 million to $6 million. This is a rough estimate and does not take into account the specifics of the compensation model, the actual revenue per transport, or the efficiency of the services provided.
