Description
The State of Tennessee (TDOC) seeks a licensed general contractor to remediate a sinkhole in the ball‑field area of the South Central Correctional Facility in Clifton. The contractor must excavate the defect, back‑fill with approved filter rock and compacted soil, install erosion‑control measures, restore drainage, reseed the area, and complete a final inspection, all while complying with strict correction‑facility security, OSHA, and ASTM standards.
• Excavation to at least 12 ft depth over ~800 sq ft, with utility locate 72 hrs prior.
• Back‑fill using 4‑12 in filter rock and compacted clean soil to 95 % dry density, plus geotextile underlayment.
• Erosion control (silt fence), site restoration (seeding, mulching), and final “broom‑clean” condition.
