FLEX FY25: Quality Improvement for Mississippi's Critical Access Hospitals and CAH Designation

The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) is seeking applications for the Quality Improvement for Mississippi's Critical Access Hospitals and CAH Designation project. The goal of this project is to improve the quality of care delivered by Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) and other rural healthcare providers in Mississippi. The selected applicant will work with MSDH to develop a work plan that aligns with the project's objectives and outcomes. The project will focus on quality improvement initiatives, such as the Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project (MBQIP), and will provide assistance to hospitals through feasibility studies and information about the CAH designation process. • The project will provide funding to support quality improvement initiatives in CAHs and other rural healthcare providers. • The selected applicant will work with MSDH to develop a work plan that aligns with the project's objectives and outcomes. • The project will focus on quality improvement initiatives, such as MBQIP, and will provide assistance to hospitals through feasibility studies and information about the CAH designation process. • The selected applicant will be required to submit expenditure reports and a final report to MSDH, and will be expected to track and report outcomes and adjust activities to improve results.
