Description
The City of Raleigh is seeking a qualified demolition contractor to remove six existing structures and complete associated site stabilization activities at the North Glen - Northwood properties. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all material, labor, machinery, tools, equipment, and services, and performing all work in an efficient and timely manner. The project is expected to be completed within 150 calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality it deems in its best interest.
• The project includes demolition of six existing structures
• The contractor must provide proof of qualifications to perform the work
• The contractor must have the necessary licenses and insurance to perform the work
• The City has a goal of contracting or sub-contracting 15% of the contract amount to certified Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs)
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, codes, rules, regulations, safety standards, and licensing requirements
