Budget estimate

$2,000,000 – $5,000,000

Based on comparable university laboratory fit‑out projects in New York, a 609‑day interior renovation with demolition, new lab build‑out, and elevator installation typically ranges from $2 million to $5 million in total contract value. The lower bound assumes a modest scope and efficient scheduling; the upper bound reflects higher material costs, specialized laboratory equipment installation, prevailing‑wage labor rates, and contingency for unforeseen conditions.
