Description
The State of South Carolina, Department of Transportation is seeking fixed price bids from qualified offerors to provide On-Call Emergency Wrecker Services. The services are required to maintain the safe and efficient movement of traffic during declared emergencies. The contract will operate in support of the South Carolina Department of Public Safety - Highway Patrol Wrecker Regulations.
• The contractor will be required to provide labor, material, and equipment for qualified Contractors to provide On-Call Emergency Wrecker Services (Wrecker) Class A (light duty) and Class C (heavy duty) towing and recovery operations statewide.
• The primary goal is to ensure that disabled vehicles and roadway obstructions are promptly removed to maintain maximum traffic capacity during high-demand situations.
• The contract is estimated to start on 01/23/2026 and end on 01/22/2031.
