Description
The Port Authority of Allegheny County is seeking a qualified contractor to design‑build and install roadway improvements, pedestrian gates, traffic signals, and ancillary safety facilities at the Light Rail Vehicle crossing on State Route 88. The work includes site survey, erosion & sediment control, temporary field office, demolition of existing structures, installation of drilled‑caisson foundations, pavement markings, signage, bollards, and a Grade‑Crossing Warning System with associated electrical wiring and control panels. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidental items, comply with state and local construction standards, meet Diverse Business participation requirements, and secure the required performance, labor‑material, maintenance, and road‑maintenance bonds. The project must be completed within 365 days of the notice to proceed, with liquidated damages for delays.
