Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide laboratory casework for the renovation of the Pathology and Laboratory located at the VAMC Togus campus in Augusta, ME. The casework must meet or exceed the VHA specifications for Lab Safety, promote environmental stewardship, and integrate with the laboratory design. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, product, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to fulfill the requirement outlined herein. Key features of the casework include:
• 30”x48" lab tables with work surfaces
• 30”x60" lab tables with work surfaces
• 30”x48" lab tables with shelving, work surfaces, hydraulic and undershelf lighting
• 36”x48" lab tables with work surfaces and shelving, with undershelf lighting
• Suspended full door units with writing tablets
• Suspended 4-drawer units with writing tablets
The contractor shall also provide installation services, including coordination and project management, on-site staff supervision with OSHA 10 certification, and complete installation of all casework and associated components and accessories.
