Procurement of CEM Peptide synthesizer Liberty Blue 2.0

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate and award a contract without providing for full and open competition for the procurement of a CEM Peptide synthesizer Liberty Blue 2.0. The synthesizer is required for expeditious synthesis of peptides for therapeutic testing and use. The Liberty Blue 2.0 System is an automated microwave peptide synthesizer designed for Fmoc solid phase peptide synthesis. The system contains 20 ports for amino acids, 7 additional unusual amino acid ports, and 4 external ports for other reagents. * The contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2026-01. * The resultant contract will be conducted under the procedures as prescribed in FAR subpart 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures at an amount not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold ($350,000). * Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this notice, and responses must be received by June 22, 2026, at 9:00 AM Eastern time.
