Description
The City of Salina seeks qualified engineering firms to develop design and permitting documents for the replacement of three existing 28‑in × 40‑in corrugated metal pipe culverts on Fairdale Road. The scope includes updated hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, preparation of construction‑ready plans and specifications, easement identification and acquisition assistance, and coordination of utility relocations, with consideration of an existing downstream reinforced‑concrete box culvert. The effort is purely design‑focused; construction will be bid separately later.
• Update and verify hydrologic/hydraulic analyses (referencing 2008 study and downstream culvert).
• Produce complete construction drawings, specs, and permitting packages.
• Assist with legal/easement work and utility coordination for the project.
• Deliverables due by early‑mid 2027, enabling bid letting by May 2027.
