6515--Ophthalmic Ultrasound Console with Biometry

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 5 is seeking sources for the procurement of an Ophthalmic Ultrasound Console with Biometry. The console should be capable of performing A-scan and B-scan ultrasounds and have high-resolution imaging capabilities. The contract will include all parts, materials, labor, software/licenses, resources, and training required to implement and utilize the equipment/system to its fullest capacity. The contractor will be responsible for delivering the equipment to the Washington DC VA Medical Center, providing on-site training to clinical staff/users, and conducting a joint inspection with the on-site Point of Contact (POC) upon completion of installation. Some key features of the required equipment include: • Ellex Absolu S Ultrasound Console with Biometry • High-resolution imaging with 15 MHz B-scan probe, 50 MHz UBM probe, and Biometry A-scan probe • Axial resolution of 35 µm (UBM), 80 µm (20 MHz), and 115 µm (15 MHz) • Lateral resolution of 60 µm (UBM), 200 µm (20 MHz), and 400 µm (15 MHz) • Depth of field up to 20 mm • Frame rate up to 16 Hz • Cineloop up to 400 images • Axial length measurement for all eye types • Built-in IOL formulas • Post-op refractive calculation with 6 keratometric correction methods • Pattern recognition for phakic, aphakic, and pseudo-phakic eyes
