The State of Delaware is seeking a qualified contractor to install and commission a heating retrofit for the inspection lanes at the Sussex County Department of Motor Vehicles. The scope includes installing gas‑fired infrared heaters, adding a new gas service, replacing the domestic water heater, and performing all associated mechanical and electrical modifications, including grounding, conduit, panelboards, and wiring devices. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre‑bid meeting, provide a 10 % bid security, and be prepared to furnish performance and payment bonds equal to the contract price. The work must be performed under the AIA A101‑2017 stipulated‑sum contract framework and comply with prevailing‑wage requirements.
