The Illinois State Board of Education is seeking a sole source vendor to provide stress and trauma treatment services to students and families in Illinois. The vendor will be responsible for conducting screening, referral, consultation, and treatment services to address the needs of students and families related to trauma-informed services in schools. The project aims to serve a minimum of 6,750 students by the end of the project.
• The vendor will be working in Areas #5 and #6 of Illinois, which have a high number of students living in rural communities.
• The vendor will be providing services specifically designed for this catchment area and has already developed Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) with schools and other alternative education programs in this geographic area.
• The vendor has already engaged in a great deal of highly meaningful work required for this Federal grant and has developed complex systems and workstreams.
• The vendor's work on this project is well underway but paused since the conclusion of FY 2024, and it would be impossible to transition this work to an alternative vendor.
