Inland River Towboat

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District is seeking to purchase a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) inland river towboat to support operations on the Upper Mississippi River. The towboat should have a draft of no more than 8 ft 6 in, between 1,200 and 3,000 BHP, and berths for at least 4 crew with head, shower, and galley area. The offer package should include current certificates of inspection, USCG documentation, extensive photos, and a complete service history. The Seller will be responsible for delivery of the vessel to the USACE Fountain City, WI Service Base. • The towboat can be new or used (1990 or newer). • The NAICS Code for this procurement is 336612 - Boat Building. • The SBA Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is 1,000 employees. • The Government intends to award on the basis of Best Value. • A small number of vessels will be evaluated in person by an Evaluation Team of USACE subject matter experts.
