Description
The U.S. Air Force 509th Contracting Squadron is seeking a contractor to remove and replace an overhead hoist system at Whiteman AFB in Missouri. The contractor will be responsible for removing the currently installed hoist, supplying and installing a new Yale Model WB105S20 or equal, and disposing of the old removed hoist. The delivery and installation of the new hoist must be completed within 120 days after receipt of the order.
Key aspects of the job include:
• The hoist is utilized in an explosive environment and must be suitable for such use.
• The hoist is an indoor overhead hoist.
• The contractor must provide a new push-button station that is independently festooned.
• The contractor must also provide a power and controls festoon system along with the pendant festoon system.
• The control voltage is 120-volt.
• The contractor must ensure that the new hoist is double reeved and has a true vertical lift.
