Ft. Lyon Wastewater Treatment Facility Repairs

The State of Colorado is providing notice of a contractor's settlement for the Ft. Lyon Wastewater Treatment Facility Repairs project. The notice is for any person or entity that has an unpaid claim against the project to file a verified statement of the amount due and unpaid. The settlement will be made with Schofield Excavation, Inc. on February 24, 2026. • The project involves repairs to the wastewater treatment facility at Ft. Lyon. • The notice is being given by the Department of Local Affairs. • Claims must be filed with the Authority for College, Institution, Department or Agency prior to the final settlement. • Failure to file a claim will relieve the State of Colorado from liability for the claim.
