Plasma Cutting Machine

The DLA-Aviation is seeking information from potential sources for the procurement of a Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Plasma Cutting Machine. The machine should be a turn-key system with technical data, delivery, unloading and rigging, installation, foundation, testing, post processor, and on-site operator, programmer, maintenance, electrical, and mechanical training. The machine should be able to cut various materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, with a bevel cutting capacity and a maximum cutting thickness of 1.4 inches for mild steel. The machine should also have a dust collector system that meets certain performance requirements, and a CAD station with specific software and hardware requirements. The contractor should provide a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and an Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) as part of their proposal. Some key features and requirements of the machine include: * A CNC control system with programmable automatic control of machine functions * A plasma arc cutting system with a gas mixing unit, electric transformer, control unit, and pressure and flow rate control * A torch head with a five-axis drive system and a gantry or cantilever beam * A dust collector system with a multiple-staged dust separator and filter * A CAD station with a computer, software, and peripherals * A training program for government personnel on the operation and maintenance of the machine
