Description
The City of West Fargo is requesting proposals for the lease of thirteen (13 or more) new and/or used motor graders. The leased motor graders will be used for a period of 6 months, from October/November 15th to April 15th, with the option to extend the lease for an additional 2 years. The successful bidder will be required to provide warranty and repairs for the term of the rental agreement, with the exception of wear items such as tire cuts/flats, cutting edges, etc. The City of West Fargo will insure the rental unit for the term of the rental agreement. Key features of the motor graders include: tandem articulating motor graders with hydraulic front wheel drive, 12 ft falls short wing plow, turbo-charged diesel engine, and a 14’ long, 27” high and 1” thick moldboard.
• The motor graders must be no older than 2020 models.
• The motor graders must have a minimum weight of 37,500 lbs.
• The motor graders must have a minimum engine rating of 185 HP.
• The motor graders must have a 6-wheel drive system.
• The motor graders must have an enclosed sound suppressed cab with rollover protective structure (ROPS).
• The motor graders must have a digital machine hour meter and AM/FM radio with auxiliary input jack and speakers.
