WATER METER ITRON REPLACEMENT PROGRAM 2-STEP JOB ORDER CONTRACT

The City of Phoenix is seeking qualified contractors for the Water Meter Itron Replacement Program, a 2-step job order contract. The contract will involve replacing water meters, providing installation services, and performing other related tasks. The city expects to select up to two contractors for this project, with a contract duration of 36 months or $18,000,000, whichever occurs first. The contract may be renewed for an additional 24 months. The scope of work will vary with each job order agreement, and the contractor will be required to provide performance and payment bonds in the amount of $6,000,000. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining project records in electronic format and utilizing the city's ASP web-based project management database. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: • Replacing 3/4 inch and larger meters • Replacing Encoder Receiver Transmitters (ERT) on meters • Providing service line plumbing upgrades • Completing minor site restoration • Coordinating with city staff and AMI Engineering Consultant • Disposing of electronic and environmental waste • Recycling old meters • Providing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the work
