The City of Sacramento is seeking a general contractor for the construction of the Sutter’s Landing Park Site, Restroom and Concession Building. The project includes a 1.5-acre site improvement and a 2,500 square feet ground-up masonry building with HVAC equipment, electrical upgrades, methane alarm system, lighting, signage, and site work including parking lot improvements, landscaping, and other work to transform the site into a usable area. The city has retained the services of Collander and Associates and Romtec for site design and building design. The project will follow a two-step process, with a pre-qualified list of general contractors developed based on their experience and answers to supplemental questions. The city’s selection committee will evaluate each submittal based on qualifications, including experience, performance on past projects, and project approach.
