Vet Diagnostic Lab Elevator Modernization

The University of Minnesota is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services for the modernization of two elevators in the Vet Diagnostic Lab, located on the St. Paul campus. The project includes related mechanical, electrical, and finish upgrades. The contractor will be required to perform the work for a fixed, lump sum contract price, including all costs necessary to complete the work in accordance with the contract documents. The project is expected to be substantially complete by September 24, 2027. • The contractor will be responsible for supervising and managing the project, including site logistics and required permitting. • The contractor will be required to submit a project schedule, including a critical path method schedule, and a project cost proposal. • The contractor will be evaluated based on their experience, qualifications, and approach to the project, as well as their safety record and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
