Description
The Union Free District of the Tarrytowns is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive elevator inspection, routine maintenance, and repair services for all district elevators and related facilities. The contract covers monthly inspections, corrective repairs on an as‑needed basis, and a minimum one‑year warranty on labor and parts, adhering to New York State codes and Westchester County prevailing‑wage requirements. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with the initial term of one year and up to three CPI‑capped extensions.
• Monthly (or as‑needed) inspections of every district elevator
• Repair, parts replacement, and warranty service with at least a 1‑year labor/parts guarantee
• Compliance with NYS safety/building codes and Westchester County prevailing‑wage rates (PRC #2026012705)
• Requirement to provide certified payroll, insurance certificates, and maintain required insurance limits
• Contract term July 1 2026 – June 30 2027, with possible three one‑year extensions
