Pumping Services for Used Oil and Related Services

The County of Kern is extending an invitation to bid to provide pumping services for used waste oil, pickup of used antifreeze, and pickup of used oil/fuel filters and other related services. The contract period is from July 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with an option to extend for two additional years. Key services and requirements include: • Pumping services for used waste oil • Pickup of used antifreeze • Pickup of used oil/fuel filters • Other related services • Pricing shall be firm for the initial 14-month term • The County prefers firm, fixed pricing with no escalations during the initial contract term • Vendors must comply with all applicable County, state, and federal laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations • Vendors must provide proof of insurance for workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and automobile liability • Vendors must comply with the County's local vendor preference and at-risk employer preference policies
