City of Fort Myers Parks Roadway Landscape Maintenance

The City of Fort Myers is seeking a qualified professional Landscape Maintenance company to provide monthly Roadway Landscape Maintenance throughout all 6 wards. The scope of work includes maintenance of traffic, trash and debris removal, offshoot and sucker removal, palm tree trimming, pruning and trimming, hand-weeding, and herbicide application. The contractor will be required to perform 24 landscape maintenance visits annually. The City is committed to providing exceptional municipal services to residents, businesses, and visitors in a fiscally responsible manner while preserving the City's rich history, diverse culture, and charming lifestyle. • The contractor must hold any necessary licenses authorizing them to do business in the State of Florida. • The contractor must have been in business under the current company/firm name for a minimum of three consecutive years. • The contractor must not be in arrears or in default of any debt or contract involving the City. • The contractor must inform the City of any relevant legal or ethical issues. The evaluation criteria include approach to the project, experience of the firm and qualifications of assigned personnel, pricing, compliance with minority business enterprise policy, and local vendor preference.
