On-Call Structural Engineering Services

The City of Chico is seeking a qualified consultant to provide on-call structural engineering services for various projects, including bridge design, rehabilitation, and maintenance. The selected consultant will be required to provide a team with expertise in structural engineering, geotechnical investigation, and other related fields. The contract term is for three years, with the potential for two one-year extensions. The total amount authorized for the contract is $5,000,000. • The scope of work includes tasks such as bridge design, structural evaluation, hydrologic analysis, and traffic analysis. • The consultant will be required to comply with Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual (LAPM) and other applicable regulations. • The consultant will be required to provide a cost proposal, which will be evaluated based on the qualifications and experience of the proposed team. • The City of Chico reserves the right to waive minor defects and irregularities in the proposals. • The consultant will be required to obtain licensing or capabilities for C-MIS software and provide construction support utilizing the C-MIS software.
