6515--INTEND TO SOLE SOURCE - to Spryson America, Inc. a Sole Source Purchase Order for Spryson DX200 Head Mounted 3D Goggle System in Support of the Iowa City VA Healthcare System Research Department.

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source purchase order to Spryson America, Inc. for Spryson DX200 Head-mounted 3D Goggle Systems. This acquisition is for new equipment that will replace old equipment and will allow the research to continue. The system includes a head-mounted goggle with high-resolution virtual 3D display and integrated binocular 100/250 Hz cameras, along with various software and tests. The contract will include one year of support and maintenance. • The system is integral to the research project being conducted by the VA Research Department. • The contract includes up to 6 hours of remote training. • The contract includes I-Portal eye tracking software and VEST data acquisition and analysis software. • The contract includes various FDA-cleared tests, such as antisaccades and gaze tests. • The contract includes a laptop, isolation transformer, and push button motor response box. • The contract includes one year of SprysonCare+ support.
