737ERP 500KW SSMG In-Place Refurbishments

The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to AMEE BAY, INC. for the in-place refurbishment of 500KW SSMG Sets on the SSBN 737. The contract requires the contractor to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials to perform the refurbishment, except for government-furnished materials. The contractor must have documented NAVSEA approval to conduct in-place reconditioning of Ship Service Motor Generators. The period of performance is estimated to be from June 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026. • The contractor will be required to perform in-place reconditioning and maintenance services of the No. 1 and No. 2 500KW SSMG Sets. • The contractor must comply with various technical requirements, including the use of NAVSEA-approved procedures and the provision of certain government-furnished materials. • The contractor will be required to submit various reports, including a Conditions Found Report, a Work Completion Report, and a Contractor Furnished Material Report. • The contract will be firm-fixed-price, and the government will provide certain services, including crane and rigging services, temporary electrical power, and industrial water.
