Description
Hays Consolidated Independent School District (HCISD) is seeking proposals for kitchen and production equipment maintenance and repairs. The contract will be for one year with the option to extend for up to four additional years. The contractor will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and on-call services to extend the life of the equipment, minimize breakdowns, and improve overall efficiency. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, walk-in coolers/freezers, flooring, ceilings, vent hoods, plumbing work, refrigeration work, custom stainless-steel fabrication, drywall repairs, welding, and installation of equipment.
• The contractor must have experience in providing similar services to schools or similar institutions.
• The contractor must be able to provide a list of references from previous clients.
• The contractor must be able to provide proof of insurance and liability coverage.
• The contractor must be able to provide a detailed explanation of their pricing and billing procedures.
