Disposal of Wastewater Treatment Plant Sewage Sludge or Biosolids

The City of Waxahachie is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide contractual services for the disposal of sewage sludge or biosolids from the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant. The successful contractor will assume ownership of the biosolids and ensure their legal disposal in compliance with all relevant regulations. The contractor must provide all equipment, fuel, chemicals, and personnel necessary to dispose of the waste. The contract will be for a period of one year with three optional one-year renewals. • The contractor must have a site within an 85-mile radius of the Howard Road Wastewater Treatment Plant. • The contractor must provide records and documentation to enable the City to comply with permits issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. • The contractor must obtain and maintain all necessary licenses, permits, and inspections. • The contractor must provide three references from other clients from whom they have been disposing of waste for a minimum of two years.
